Back again

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I didn't have internet for a long time...over a year...so I didn't post anything here.

Since then a lot has happened. MashaAllah Jayjay is three years old and...............she has a new baby sister who is almost three months old, mashaAllah. My new little one is a wonderful baby and very much like her big sister in all the good ways, mashaAllah.

We have also moved back to America. There are ups and downs, but ultimately, I think it was a good choice...now I just have to get a job and prove that I'm right about that...We're on our way to the Job Center this afternoon, though, so inshaAllah it'll be alright.

My grandma is doing very well all considering...unfortunately a sister of hers passed away the week I flew back to Germany last year...and my uncle's wife passed away from a heart attack too--she was so young, subhanAllah.

All considering, we're doing well. Jayjay is a smart little cookie and her sister looks to be at least just as smart, inshaAllah. Jayjay and I are now working on writing the alphabet and easy reading, mashaAllah. I'm looking into preschool or four year old kindergarten for her for next year, inshaAllah... We're also trying to find a few playgroups for her to socialize with other children--at the moment, she has no cousins in America around her age and the poor thing doesn't have a lot of play friends. InshaAllah that'll change.
